Tonight's episode continues through Ezra chapters 2 and 3. We get a roll-call of the Israelites who returned from Babylon in chapter 2, almost book of Numbers style, and then a a reminder of the splendor of Solomon's temple as the Israelites build the altar in Chapter 3. This chapter challenges us to remember that the Lord's mercy and goodness endures forever - not until we rebuild the temple (or ourselves) back into what we were before. We take one turn back to the light and He meets us with absolute delight.
