Jeremiah and our discussions tonight challenge us to live out the life in Christ that we now have. Certainly, our past content and everlasting belief confirms that the hope we live for does not depend on our obedience or ability to modify our behavior. By no means do we think Christ died so that we may modify our own behavior - that this is the summation of the Christian walk. Instead, we see the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us and that will produce a change of heart that gives us no choice but to strain towards living in the right standing we have already received.
