Bedtime Story is the story of a nervous outsider approaching Berghain with two friends, caught between fear, desire, performance, and the hope that the night might briefly wake him from ordinary life. As the bass grows louder and the door becomes a kind of trial, the club turns into a mythic threshold between the people who belong and those who only want to. It is a dark, feverish story about nightlife, alienation, self-consciousness, and the desperate search for intensity in a life that feels half-asleep.
