Anytime more than 2 people get together, they will disagree about something sooner or later. Guess what? IT'S OKAY TO DISAGREE!!! We can, and should, still be friends. I don't know about you, but I learn a lot by listening to other people's opinions and philosophies. No need to get wrapped around the axle when they don't agree.
