Chapter Meeting (Q&A/Discussion):

Blake W: What do you guys think about the new Blood Angels release packages available on the GW website?

Adam: I can see the advantage if you’re a “one-click shopper”, but you’re not saving any actual money with these bundles, so it really isn’t anything special.

Chris: Ditto what Adam said; it’s nice to be able to buy everything as a single bundle, but I want some actual savings from these bundles!

Blake W: What do you think about GW's outlook for 2015, and what do you want to see from 40k this coming year?

Chris: As much as I want to say with confidence that GW is going to have an amazing year in 2015, the most recent financial information is troubling, so say the least

Adam:

More campaigns - one a quarter might be a little much, but two a year should

White Dwarf - Chapter Approved: collections of all the White Dwarf exclusive Formations, Rules, and Dataslates from the past year, released as a book at the end of the year.

Clint D: How do you guys handle a situation that is heretical?

Chris: An unreasonably large volume of bolter fire, followed by a healthy virus bombing!

Roy E: Can Astartes sire children?

Chris: While I’m not 100% sure that it is ever explicitly stated that Astartes are sterile, I do believe that it is implied that, at the very least, they have little to no interest in sex. From a medical standpoint, it seems likely that their reproductive systems would be severely messed up by the process of becoming an Astartes, which occurs during puberty. From a tactical standpoint, sterile, asexual soldiers (like the Unsullied in a Song of Ice and Fire aka A Game of Thrones) would be ideal, as they are not distracted by sexual desires or family ties. Can’t have your human killbots wondering off to rape and pillage while they should be guarding their base!
