Botanist Dr. Douglas C. Daly: Identity Theft in the Amazon
Dr. Douglas C. Daly is a Botanist at the New York Botanical Garden and
the B.A. Krukoff Curator of Amazonian Botany. His research focuses on
the trees and flora of the Southwestern Amazon region, with particular
interest in frankincense and myrrh.
What’s more, he is a member of The Southern Blots, a band of euphonious academics who showcase their talents after his talk, entitled "Identity Theft in the Amazon: Encounters with Fictional Forests."
