This week we're excited to welcome The Oval's Editor in Chief and Philly Runner Track Club's own Ethan Herman to the podcast! Ethan's story is unlike what we typically see from most. While some make the jump to collegiate running following a success high school career, Ethan chose an academic institution without a track and field or cross county program. While this would typically mark the end of competitive running for most, Ethan found a home with the Philly Runner Track Club and has since reached new heights making him someone to watch for on any starting line he is on. Part one focuses on his roots, how Ethan started running and his journey into Philly Runner. We had a great time reminiscing over past races and great shenanigans that can only come from things like club xc.
