For the first episode of the Beers and Miles: The Elite files series, Cris and Larry interview an athlete from Cris' old college, Matt Salas. The crew talk to him about his journey into competitive running and the lead up to his junior season of track being cancelled. Matt had just come off qualifying for the D3 National Championships in Cross Country and was looking to make a big splash this outdoor season before his season was cut short due to the COVID-19 crisis. Hear about his journey and what's next for him with some bonus questions asked at the end.
