Non-musical history for today: 1841 – William Henry Harrison died of pneumonia, becoming the first President of the United States to die in office, and setting the record for the briefest administration (exactly one month). Vice President John Tyler succeeds Harrison as President. Harrison was the last President to be born a British subject in the 13 colonies.
