Non-musical history for today: This is not meant to be morbid. I just find it interesting that they happened on the same day, four years apart.
1977 – In Yonkers, New York, 24-year-old postal employee David Berkowitz (“Son of Sam”) was arrested for a series of killings in the New York City area over one year.
1981 – The head of John Walsh’s son, Adam, is found. This inspires the creation of the television movie, Adam, the television series America’s Most Wanted, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
