Non-musical history for today: 1939 – The Wizard of Oz premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, California. I’m not sure if we can call it non-musical, since the film was, in fact, a musical. But here we are. Today is the 86th anniversary of one of my favorite musical films.
