Non-musical history for today: 1997 – Diana, Princess of Wales, her partner, Dodi Fayed, and driver Henri Paul died in a car crash in Paris. I guess in a way it is musical because I was standing on a stage in a place called the Red Pepper Tavern when it was announced. Di, Dodi, Henri… none of them can rest in peace because it’s an ongoing thing.
