Non-musical history for today: 1974 – Philippe Petit performed a high-wire act between the twin towers of the World Trade Center 1,368 feet (417 m) in the air. I haven't seen Man on a Wire, but I want to and hope that it tells how they got the cable up there, how they were able to connect it between the two buildings, and how they got past security.
