Non-musical history for today: 1956 – In his speech On the Cult of Personality and Its Consequences, Nikita Khrushchev, leader of the Soviet Union, denounced Joseph Stalin. Khrushchev charged Stalin with having fostered a leadership cult of personality despite ostensibly maintaining support for the ideals of communism. I wonder which leader will do that in 2028?

Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for February 25.

Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
