Non-musical history for today: 1901 – Queen Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom, was stricken with paralysis. She died three days later at the age of 81. Rheumatism was the cause of the paralysis. Her last request was to have her dog, a Pomeranian named Tuli, put on her bed.
