Non-musical history for today: 2013 – President of Egypt, Mohamed Morsi, was removed from office by the military after four days of protests all over the country calling for his resignation, to which he did not respond. The president of the Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt, Adly Mansour, was declared acting president until further elections are held.

Oh, how I wish we’d see something like this. The protests are there. Now, someone needs to do something.

Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for July 3.

Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
