Non-musical history for today: 1629 – Charles I dissolved the Parliament of England, beginning the eleven years known as the “Personal Rule.” This was when King Charles I ruled as an autocratic absolute monarch without recourse to Parliament. Charles claimed he was entitled to do this under the royal prerogative and had a divine right. It sounds like what the Big Cheeto in Charge, the Copper God, is trying to do. Most of his sheeple would go along with it.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for March 10.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
