Non-musical history for today: 37 – Roman Senate annulled Tiberius’ will and proclaimed Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (aka Caligula = Little Boots) emperor. His reign was full of tyranny and debauchery. And it led to one heck of a (loosely-based) film in 1979. It’s probably the most expensive of its kind. And, by “it’s kind…” I’ll let you figure that out if you don’t know.
