Non-musical history for today: 1889 – One of my favorite world landmarks, the Eiffel Tower was officially opened to the public at the Universal Exposition in Paris. I have been to Paris three times and have walked under La Tour Eiffel three times. However, I have never been on the iconic treasure. One day, maybe?
