Non-musical history for today: 1940 – The Hercules Powder Plant Disaster in Delaware killed 51 people and injured over 200. To this day, at least to my knowledge, the cause of the blast is uncertain. It is widely believed that a team consisting of Irish Republican Army members and Nazis conspired to carry out this tragic act. This hasn't been definitively proven.
