Non-musical history for today: 1920 – The National Football League was organized as the American Professional Football Association in Canton, Ohio. Only the Decatur Staleys and Racine Normals remain from that first meeting. The Normals became the Chicago Cardinals and, of course, moved to St. Louis and then Phoenix (then Glendale). Decatur Staleys are now the Chicago Bears.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for September 17.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
