Non-musical history for today: 1942 – The Boeing B-29 Superfortress made its maiden flight. The Enola Gay (the airship that dropped "Little Boy", the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima) and Bockscar (dropped "Fat Boy" on Nagasaki three days later) were both B-29s. That, of course, evolved over time - and a few incarnations - to the B-52.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for September 21.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
