Non-musical history for today: 1911 – French poet Guillaume Apollinaire was arrested and put in jail on suspicion of stealing the Mona Lisa from the Louvre museum. It wasn't him, however, nor was it Picasso, who had also been accused. It was Vincenzo Peruggia who was caught trying to sell the famous painting.
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for September 7.
Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
