Before the people of Israel rebuilt the temple, they rebuilt the altar.
Before the work of their hands, there was the posture of their hearts.
In Ezra 3, we see a powerful reminder: before they built, they bowed.
They didn’t start with plans, tools, or structures, they started with worship.
This message is a reminder for our church today. God is the One who builds His church, not us. Our call is not to strive, rush, or perform, but to bow in surrender, reverence, and obedience as He works.
As God builds, we bow.
