In my professional circles the new year was always the hype for vision boarding and goal setting and making bold declarations like, "THIS IS THE YEAR!". What I realize NOW was a big problem with that energy is NOT only are the gates around January 1st actually AWFUL for setting new goals, but there's a really big part of our design we need to consider before doing this.
