Yanna's experience with spinsterhood started in childhood when she was surrounded by multiple single women who lived fulfilled lives full of peace and freedom. Today, she tells us about the Beguines, an independent spiritual order that gave women the freedom to remain single, and the invaluable service they provided to their communities.
