What Inspired “Beginning Middle End”

This song was born from listening.

A woman shared what she was sensing in her spiritual walk — that there were forces of light and dark moving at the same time. Not drama. Not fear. But a kind of sifting. A refining.

Like wheat and chaff being separated.

And in the middle of all that intensity, she said something that stayed with me:

“God is not the author of confusion.”

That line cut through everything.

It reminded me that when things feel chaotic, divided, or noisy — that isn’t God. Confusion doesn’t come from Him. Clarity does. Peace does. Refining does.

The image that stayed with me was this:

Not punishment.

But sifting.

Truth separating from noise.

Faith separating from performance.

Light revealing what was always there.
