Despite some technical difficulties, Abby begins what will be the final Stories By Nerds Segment of 2021, "Cloud Family." As Deena has grown into an old woman and suffered the loss of numerous family and friends over the years, she still refuses to join "them" in the new form of an afterlife in a clouded network. No more suffering. No more pain. Having the ability to traverse the entire universe at a whim. It all seems too good to be true, but Deena knows in her heart that death is still a natural part of life. However, an unexpected chain of sudden events will put her face-to-face with the family that has already uploaded itself into the cloud.
