Beginning Thoughts on Immortals Fenyx Rising

Listen Later

What's up everyone I am back and in action to talk about some video games. So I just want to say, and mortals is an awesome game, it really has a lot going for it. And I can't say enough about it. I've just started about four hours into it really enjoying those puzzles, the puzzles are laid back. Now, if you remember, Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, a very good game in itself. And one of the games of the years at many different reviewers or insights, we see that this Immortals game really takes it to that mythology level. So really hovering in that Greek mythology and going through that pantheon of gods and it's just fun to kind of discover and explore the world. And these puzzles along the way really add a dynamic to the game, and bringing it to a level that can be fun. And I think, games these days, they take themselves so seriously, and they try to do too much. And I'm not going to point out any specific games, because I tried to keep these positive. But I do want to say that simple puzzles is sometimes better, I find that it's more relaxing these complicated puzzles when I'm sitting down. And I purposely played this system on a Nintendo Switch, because it is just relaxing. I like playing relaxing games. And yes, it has a lot of elements from Assassin's Creed. And you can tell that that climbing elements so well done in this game they built on years and years and years of building this game on up to bring in a state of the art system, when it comes to those climbing mechanics in this game. Overall, the game play I find as very fluid, and well done. And this is on a switch. So I want to I want to keep that there. But I think it's just relaxing to kind of sit down, play the game, and lay down and just explore the world kind of solve the puzzles, and it's very calming. And that's not a lot that we see in today's game. It's very action oriented. Yes, it tends to seem like it's taking some from Zelda. But I think it's differentiated enough where you could argue that it's maybe not that, but I think the mythology and the and the fun humor. That is something I was not expecting, when it came to and mortals the humor is absolutely hilarious. And you really need to listen to this game with the sound on to take it to that level to where you really enjoy it. And it's a good time. I I think it's the best experience if you have a sound on so you definitely don't want to be playing with captions if you don't have to. Because when you turn this thing on, and you're playing some immortals, the sound is just miraculous when it comes to the jokes that are being said, and the vocal part area that's used in the characters, and creating this absolutely amazing environment. And yes, the some of the puzzles can be frustrating, but normally you can solve them, if you just stick with it, and kind of figure out what's going on. There's little markers on the map that kind of guide you to where you need to go when it comes to those puzzles. And that can be refreshing, and a nice jolt of happiness when you solve those small puzzles. So nothing too complicated in this game that's going to really let you down and get you stuck. I think most of the time, you should be able to solve these puzzles, which can add to the fluidity of the story and continuing on now. I've heard this game 30 hours I'll continue kind of posted up with you guys. Let you know, based upon the salary reviews, this is three to four hours and so I am still kind of at the cusp of what wiki would be considered the beginning of immortals, but definitely a fun play for sure. So I would say this is a buy almost based on my experience so far, it is definitely different. I am so happy that Ubisoft finally got another IP in place because Assassin's Creed Far Cry. But they are banking in I mean, they are literally banking in next generation right now. So props to Ubisoft for creating all these great games watchdogs Assassin's Creed for he
