• Voltaire made the quip about “returning the favor,” i.e., the ways we tend to make God in our image. What might be some characteristics of a false image of God?

• Of the 3 stuck-points described [Isolation, Powerlessness, Pessimism], how does each keep us from experiencing a new beginning?

• Which of the 3 image-of-God truths is easiest for you to live into? Which is hardest?

• In 2 Corinthians, Paul makes a deliberate call-back to Genesis 1, e.g., “For the God who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness....’” Paul asserts that a transformation has taken place, is taking place, and will continue to take place. What is this transformation? [see 2 Cor 2:14-4:18]
