In this episode, we introduce you to Bobby Cappuccio, the co-founder of Personal Training Academy Global. He has a significant influence on coaches across the globe. In this episode, we get to the heart of behaviour change.
Born with a severe facial deformity and diagnosed with Tourette syndrome, Bobby did not have an easy life to start. In his own words, exercise saved him. Since becoming a personal trainer, he has spent the last two decades driving a shift in perspective for health and fitness goals: from a solely outward-focused goal-oriented approach to a more holistic approach centred on behavioural change.
Bobby is also the former head of training and development at David Barton gym, former director of professional development at the National Academy of Sports Medicine, former Director of Coaching at the Institute of Motion and now Director of Coaching at California Schools VEBA. Bobby’s reach runs wide from sales to leadership to cultural development. He presents at business and fitness conferences across the globe. Bobby has worked with Hilton Hotels, Fitness First, David Lloyd Leisure, and Virgin Active, to name a few.
