The case I am presenting today happened in two countries at the same time: Canada and India. It involves what many refer to as Acts in the Name of Honor. A girl named Jassi, one of the heiresses from a very rich and powerful family, fell in love with Mithu, a man of much lower socioeconomic status. This did not go down well with her family, who ended up organizing an execution plan that unfortunately ended in tragedy. This is the story of the couple Jassi and Mithu.
