The Philadelphia Eagles got embarrassed by the New York Giants 34-17 on Thursday Night Football for the whole world to see. Marcos gives his takes on what he saw in this game starting with the defense that clearly suffered without stars Quinyon Mitchell and Jalen Carter. CB Keele Ringo was getting picked on and it was costing the Eagles defensively. Marcos praises the NY Giants for being the aggressive and more physical team as the energy they brought was palpable throughout the stadium. Marcos then talks about the struggles the Eagles had again to play a full 4 quarters of football as the offense seemed to have no answer for when the Giants defense adjusted. Marcos then gives his overall take on the state of the Eagles and whether or not it's time to press the panic button in Philadelphia or if the Eagles are falling victim to expectations and pressure put on them.

Marcos and the Jet kick off episode 107 by previewing the matchup on Thursday night with the Eagles vs Giants. They discuss some of the storylines surrounding the Eagles going into the week. The biggest concern is whether or not the Eagles offense can take a more balanced approach against a defense that has been struggling. They boys talk about the offensive struggles that the Eagles are facing and what the team needs to do to combat those issues moving forward. After that Marcos gives his keys to the game and the boys give their score predictions. They then pivot on over to the 49ers where they preview their road matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are coming off of another impressive victory. Ben goes over the storylines for the team and what his concerns are about this game which mainly stems from how this 49ers defense is going to look against Baker Mayfield who has been playing at an MVP level so far this year. Ben then gives his keys to the game and the boys give their score predictions. After that Sacramento Kings are back and it's time for the boys to give their takes on the state of the Kings, as they talk about how much confidence they do or don't have in the team and what are going to be some of the keys to the season that the boys are expecting to see. They discuss some of the problems from last year and whether or not those issues exist still. They finish off their pod by giving a win total prediction for the Kings this season.

Marcos praises the Broncos for getting hot at the right time and taking this game from the Eagles, and Marcos questions some of the effort from guys like AJ Brown who had a couple of moments that were questionable. Marcos praises the defense for doing their part in this game, but he emphasizes that something needs to change offensively. The 49ers win an INSTANT CLASSIC in overtime vs the Los Angeles Rams on the road in Levis South! The Jet gives praise to the 49ers who surprised everyone with how well they started out in this game despite the injuries they were facing. The 49ers limited their mistakes while playing efficient football while also forcing the Rams into mistakes of their own! Although Mac Jones was playing through some tough hits the 49ers survive a late run by the Rams, only for 2nd round rookie Alfred Collins to save the day with a forced fumble at the goal line to go to overtime where they did just enough to seal the deal. Ben talks about what this means for the 49ers moving forward, and whether or not his belief has been restored in this depleted roster.

After that Ben gives his take on whether or not the Eagles are the team capable of collapsing like they did in 2023. After that they pivot to the game against the Broncos who pose a tough matchup for the Eagles. Marcos gives his take on that and what to look for before giving his score and his midseason grade for the Eagles.

The San Francisco 49ers lose their first game of the 2025-26 season to the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-21 at home. The Jet breaks down the inconsistency and self inflicted wounds with turnovers and missed opportunities all over in this one. He starts with what was a very slow first half for the 49ers, the offense was stale and unable to get anything going along with dealing with multiple turnovers early on. He addresses the 49ers struggles on the ground game in yet another game, as teams are forcing the 49ers to beat them through the air because of the injuries and missing pieces on the board. Ben addresses the defense that had its moments but could definitely feel the loss of Nick Bosa. Fred Warner missed a few interceptions that could have turned the tide, and the special teams allowed some big plays as well. Ben also addresses Purdy's return and how his turnovers were the difference in the game and that the 49ers need him to be better moving forward. He finishes off the pod by handing out his game balls.

The Eagles are 4-0 after a win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road 31-25! Marcos dives into what was another tale of two halves where the Eagles couldn't have played any better in the first half only to fall apart in the 2nd half and allowed the Bucs to make a game out of it late. Marcos addresses the offense and how yet again they have lacked consistency through a full 4 quarters in any given game, but the defense did it's part and forced 2 turnovers. However it wasn't without growing pains as rookies Drew Mukuba and Jihaad Campbell allowed two huge TDs that kept the Bucs within striking distance. AJ Brown continues with is cryptic messages after a win due to his frustrating play as the Eagles had no answers for the defense in the 2nd half. Marcos addresses what this next stretch needs to look like for the Eagles to keep winning while finishing off the pod with his MVPs of the game.
