The prestigious GOOD DESIGN award competition selects product designs and graphics from more than 46 nations for design excellence. It is one of the oldest and most recognized programs for design excellence globally. Recently, the award committee named the new Freightliner Cascadia as an honoree in the category of Transportation. To be chosen is a great honor for DTNA, and I’d like to thank everyone who participated in this process.

Behind the Design: The New Cascadia

In Daimler’s online magazine, we want to talk about the people behind this company. Our focus is on three points: Firstly, we want to deal with topics that are relevant for society, relevant in terms of technology or relevant in terms of our strategy. Secondly, we want to show the many faces that Daimler is made of. And thirdly, we want to explain what this company does – and why it does so. You could even go as far and say: If our website with its daily news is something like a Daimler newspaper – then the Daimler Magazine is our weekend supplement.
