For our first episode, host Command Sgt. Maj. John Foley and guest, Sgt. 1st Class Astin Muse, focus on an important topic: health care. The two discuss options available to U.S. Army Soldiers and their families and how access to free, comprehensive health care has impacted their lives.

In our command, we have thousands of Soldiers working every day to inform and educate Americans about what it means to serve in the U.S. Army and what life as a Soldier is really like. This podcast is an extension of that effort. Service members only make up one percent of the population, so many people in our nation are not personally connected to someone in the military. We want to narrow the gap of misunderstanding about what Army life is like and answer questions many applicants have when considering a career with us. I will talk to Soldiers about their personal experiences as well as experts who can help us break down the benefits of being a member of our profession.
