We met at a rally held at Black church. I’d seen her before as the spicy blonde who was bold enough to sit down with some of the most notorious gang members in the city and not flinch. But, that’s Molly Grantham. The Emmy award-winning journalist and television anchor is currently one of only a handful of female TV anchors in the country not only leading the 11pm newscast, but who is also calling the shots. She’s an author, mother of 3 and a wife. 

She uses her celebrity and passion to serve as a beacon of light for cancer survivors and those who have lost the battle like four of her own family members. But, she's so much more than a celebrity - she's  a great friend who knows too well how to tell a story. I was too excited that she chose to share hers with  me.
