In this episode of resus10, Steve Heightman interviews Carl Flores, NRP. Carl served as chief of EMS at New Orleans EMS to help rebuild the organization after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, where he was tasked with building a more sustainable organization in New Orleans and regionally.

 

He shares how his team implemented a Region One Protocol Effort to shift the department from its silos to a statewide system of care approach, ultimately improving their responses to disasters, acute illness and traumatic injuries.
