We would all like a bit of comfort every now and then I'm sure. The trouble is, most sources of comfort only provide a brief moment of rest and relief. The Word of God, however, stands forever. And in Isaiah 40 he declares, -Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.- This tender word comes from the One who is mighty- he is the Creator of all things, he controls all things, and he conquers all his enemies. His same strong arm that rules over the nations gathers his lambs like a shepherd. Behold your God- He cares for you.
