Matthew 21:1-11

Jesus is the prophesied and promised King who brings the salvation we need. Matthew 21 is the beginning of the week that all of history had been moving toward—the Triumphal Entry of the King of Kings into the royal city of David. The time has come for Jesus to openly declare who He is and in these verses the attributes of our King of Glory are put on display. Matthew is inviting us to set our attention on Jesus so that we might obey the prophet’s command to—“Behold your king!”
