When we obey the part of God's word that we like it sort of says that we believe the word, but when we obey the part of God's word that we don't like it says that  we believe the God who said it.  When you believe God no matter you like it what He said or not it takes you deeper into Him. You get stronger in your spirit, you go higher in your spiritual authority, you begin to adore Him more intensely, you revere Him more royally, and you honor Him more earnestly.
