Women hold 28% of all jobs in STEM, this is according to a report by the World Bank. With such low levels of female representation across all levels in the tech space, it can feel intimidating for a women to join and even be comfortable in such professions. However that did not deter Nitasha from taking up space as a young woman in tech. As the current recipient of the Women In Tech Aspiring Teen Award and the co-founder and former president of Tech Society at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, she speaks to us about the lessons from her failures and celebrations from her successes as she continues to immerse herself into the tech space.
