Megan Harrison was already stepping out into an entrepreneurial life, even before being diagnosed with Crohn's disease shortly after leaving university - so she was Getting Paid, even before she was a Patient Getting Paid!

Based in Leicestershire in the UK, she is a freelance content creator and writer, blogging on her own website about wellbeing and sustainability, while also supporting brands that share these values with their content creation.

Being honest about what she wants to do and how she wants to work has made a huge difference to Megan’s health as she has the freedom to focus on her wellbeing at the same time as working. Megan is grateful to have flexibility in her work.
