With the power and glory Jesus was given, he could have shifted his focus from what God had called him to do into doing things to make himself popular with the people of his day. But Jesus wasn't distracted; instead, he did what he saw the Father do, and he said what he heard the Father say. We also must be focused on what God has called us to do in this life.
