Being Like Children Pt 1.
God wants us to be like children... but sadly, we don't to be. Society and modern culture have done a really good job of convincing us to want to be self-reliant and self-promoting. But still, we have to be like CHILDREN.
Let's talk about it.
Scriptures:
Isaiah 28: 9-10
“Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask. “Why does he speak to us like this? Are we little children, just recently weaned? He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”
Matthew 18:3
Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.
1 Corinthians 2:3
Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, “He traps the wise in the snare of their own cleverness.” And again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise; he knows they are worthless.
