All of these components for essential for Marla as she formed her company in the aftermath of a devastating car accident that essentially made her career as a full-time nurse practitioner unsustainable. Today where we have Marla Green, FNP-BC, the founder and CEO of Educatrix Advanced Practice Seminars LLC. Her company conducts continuing education events for nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and physician assistants to maintain their licenses and certifications. Her inspiration to start the company came from a combination of experiences from her personal life journey and 25 years of professional work in the healthcare industry.

These days, there are a lot of ways we are called to take action on issues by making a personal choice to “take a stand” and “be the change.” I’m not going to lie to y’all; individual efforts can often feel pretty useless. How can my one action make a difference when, realistically, so many issues require large-scale overhauls to be addressed? But is this right here? This is something different. And I’m not here just telling you all about it; I believe in it so much that over 5 years ago, I made the decision to join the registry.
