Rev. Elbert McGowan Jr. is born and raised in Jackson, MS. He is the Senior Pastor of Redeemer Church in Jackson. He is the founding campus pastor of RUF at Jackson State University. He is married to Dr. Karen McGowan and has two beautiful children.
