The church is designed as a unified body despite its diversity, with each member having intrinsic value and purpose regardless of their role or function. Following Christ's example of servanthood rather than seeking to be served creates a healthy church where all members recognize their importance and responsibility.

• Unity is the hallmark of the church, drawing diverse people together as one body in Christ
• The church belongs to Christ, not to us, and is built upon His Word rather than human preferences
• Self-deprecation damages church unity when members view themselves as unimportant or dispensable 
• Egotism equally harms unity when members elevate their ministry above others or refuse to share responsibility
• Every role in church has intrinsic value—from greeting to teaching to serving communion
• Our mutual encouragement and joyfulness in worship builds up the entire body
• Active participation in church life honors leadership by allowing them to focus on their calling
• Jesus modeled servanthood rather than seeking to be served, setting our example

Let us pray that we will work together with one another, every joint, every piece working together properly, growing into maturity in Christ Jesus to accomplish the purposes He has set forth for us.
