Hey~

Today I am sitting down with my good friend Daniel.

Daniel was born in Indonesia and is currently living in California. He and I met a year back in Japan when we were attending one of the biggest festivals in all Japan, the Yosakoi Festival in Kochi.

Today we get to talk about a bunch of different things including both our connection to Japan, different cultures, nationality and race. We also spend some of our time rambling on about benefits of learning languages and what changes happen in the mind.

Today I am sitting down with my good friend Carina.

Carina and I studied the same major in university while I put my focus on Japan and she did focus on Korea.

We start this one off by talking about different cultures and languages before getting into the deep end of the human experience. Most of the time spent this time around is about general anxiety and how living with panic attacks changes you. Finally we connect this to the million dollar industry of motivational speakers and influencers.

I'm so grateful to Carina for actually being able to this story of hers and hope it will not only help me, but help out others as well.

I'm always genuinely interested in getting to know other people.

Hi everybody.

Today I'm coming at you with a new full lenght episode of two hours.

We begin this Episode talking about general concepts of happiness and how to combine light and darkness in our daily lives. Later we segway into our mutal hobby, which is gaming. Finally we make the connection to mental health of gamers and the issues I see in the gaming community.

After having a great dinner I am sitting down with my good friend David.

Next to my - way too inconveniently small- couch table David and I are trying our best to get comfortable on the floor. We got our cold beverages prepared and are ready to dive into discussions as a great end to and already great summer evening.

David is a psychlogy graduate and we met a year ago. Both of us are interested in HipHop dance, marterial arts and yoga.

Today we are talking a lot about Davids background, how he came to study psychology and about common misconceptions in regards to psychology. I also open up about my struggle with my current and we get connect this to anxiety and discussions about life in general.

You are inspired or would otherwise like to reach out?

Today is a Sunday evening and I am slouching in my couch concentrating on my computer and Skype call with my good friend Melissa.

Melissa is a half-Japanese half-American born grown up in Okinawa, Japan. She is a linguistic major and spend a couple of years working as a high-school teacher. Nowadays she is doing freelance work and has been living in Germany for couple of years.

Today we are going to talk about computer programming, Melissas upbringing and her childhood struggle in a segregated community, and how Social Media keeps people from accepting happiness.

I really enjoyed this one and hope everyone does as well. While I knew a certain amount about segregation in Japan this was completely new to me and really hits hard.

Today is a hot summers day. We have 28° Celsius outside and I am sitting down in a cafe with my good friend Jian Xu.

Jian is born in China and came to Germany a couple of years ago. He is a fellow enthusiastic Hip-Hop dancer and that is exactly where we met. In our discussions we go deep into the topic of racism, cultural differences and international media coverage. With special attention on China related topics and Chinas role in the current world we also come to look for a mutual understanding of the complex issues that is the new national security laws in Hong Kong.

I really enjoyed this Podcast and it shows that we should all try to take a step back and listen to someone else story before judging.

Struggling with motivational issues is far to prevalent for all of us. Finally able to talk about motivation and how having a break sometimes makes us feel less motivated to do stuff we actually like.

Back after a sad phase of no motivation so this had to be the topic I talk about. Hope you like it.
