Tune in as we get to know Bekah Pounds, CHBC's newest missions partner, serving with Cru on the campus of UNC! You will be encouraged by her love for the Lord and for making Him known!
ABOUT BEKAH
College is such a formative time for students — a time when they are growing and making a name for themselves. One of my favorite things about my job is getting to walk alongside students as they wrestle with what it actually means to be successful and to discover where their true identity lies. Our hope as a movement is to come alongside UNC students, no matter where they are on their faith journey, and to help them encounter the God of the Bible and respond with their entire lives. Every year as we step into a new school year, I am reminded of how much God loves each and every one of the students with whom I have the opportunity to work each and every day, whether they know Him or not. My prayer for myself and for the students at UNC is that daily we can combat the lies of our culture that tell us our worth, value, and identity lie in the things of this world, and can be reminded that Christ offers us abundant life and gives us our true identity.
Please feel free to send Bekah an email to bless and encourage her at [email protected].
