It seems that what we see

Is not what it appears to be

We know we've seen murder

But in the mindless fervor

The gas lighters rebuke

What our eyes know is truth

The powers that be

Says that what we see

Is fabrication

Just our imagination

In this time as people grieve

The Criminal tells us what to believe

This is how autocracy starts

Confusing minds and hearts

It tries to break our will

By telling us what to feel

It destroys all our norms

It violates and scorns

But we have to fight back

With the truth, that's a fact

The Media and Constitution

Are now fragile

So funny but not laughable

Propaganda and fake news

Are constantly used

Distraction and disguise

Are on the rise

We must...

BELIEVE OUR EYES 

NOT THE LIES!
